Dog Wellbeing & Holistic Health in Newcastle upon Tyne, supporting both dogs and their owners

At My Dog Matters, part of My Health Matters, I offer personalised treatments designed to reduce pain, stress and anxiety, improving comfort, recovery and overall wellbeing.

Supporting both ends of the lead, I recognise the deep bond between you and your dog and how this connection influences emotional and physical health.

My specialised gentle dog wellbeing treatments help reduce pain, stress, and anxiety, supporting chronic and acute conditions. They encourage deep relaxation, improve comfort, movement, and mobility, aid healing, enhancing overall health, wellbeing and preventative care.

Alongside this, I work with people to support their own health and wellbeing, whether for relaxation, life balance, or personal goals. I specialising in fatigue related conditions including ME/CFS, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Post viral fatigue, and burn out.

When dogs and their owners feel better, the relationship between them becomes stronger, calmer, and more balanced.

My dog wellbeing services were inspired by the improvements I saw in my own dog, Gracie, and my desire to help other dogs experience the same comfort and care.

As a Certified Animal Practitioner, I offer personalised treatments for your dog using a blend of gentle techniques designed to:

  • Ease pain and discomfort
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Support recovery after surgery, illness, or injury
  • Encourage relaxation and improved movement
  • Promote overall wellbeing and calm behaviour

These treatments are a valuable complement to veterinary care and can support both recovery and preventative wellbeing.

Dogs are highly attuned to their owners and often reflect their human’s state of wellbeing. For this reason, it may be beneficial for both you and your dog, if you also receive treatment. This can be offered as part of your dog’s therapy session, as a separate session for you, or as a shared wellbeing package for both of you.

Together, we can support greater balance, comfort, and quality of life for you and your dog.
