Sessions may involve gentle placement of hands on or near your animal. They complement veterinary care and do not replace it. Continue to consult your vet about your animal’s health.
Please tell Elaine about any current veterinary care or other therapeutic practices, and let those practitioners know that you intend to work with My Dog Matters.
There are no guarantees of specific treatment outcomes. Please provide an accurate account of your animal’s history and relevant information.
For safety and wellbeing, hands-on work is not carried out with dogs showing aggressive behaviour. Sessions follow your dog’s comfort and responses and may be adapted, paused or stopped if they become distressed.

Refund and reschedule policy

Agreed fees are paid in advance. Appointments can be rearranged or cancelled for a refund with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at half the session price. Elaine will use discretion and flexibility where possible to rearrange, depending on circumstances.

If Elaine needs to cancel, she will aim to give at least 24 hours’ notice and arrange another appointment or a refund.

By arranging and attending appointments, you indicate that you accept these terms. Submitting this profile does not book an appointment.
